THE PARTY PEST

Some people have to steal the show,
Impress the world with all they know.
You know the type, they're every where.
They drive a hostess to despair.

Opinions flow like cheapest wine.
Of logic, one can't find a sign.
The voice is often much too loud.
You'll find one in 'most any crowd.

I do not know what makes them tick;
They are among our social sick.
Some day I'll learn to change my ways,
And all my hostesses amaze.
