POOR JON BENET

The murder of poor Jon Benet
Is still a mystery today;
Still unexplained are many acts,
Authorities so sparse with facts.

The parents actions are so strange,
Confusing in their constant change;
Attorneys said "Go leave the state",
Police can not investigate.

They can't the parents extradite,
Until they do the pair indict;
The prosecution unprepared,
Have never all their info shared.

No other suspects are yet known,
No outside clues were ever shown;
Their home still guards their secrets well,
Its weeping walls have much to tell.
