YOUNG REBELS

Is honor lost to modern man,
Must we resort to such deceit?
Poor exiled truth we often ban,
So young we learn the world to cheat.

A parent cheats a little bit
To inconvenience overcome;
So for the child the path is lit,
Its conscience stays forever mum.

With honor gone, can it come back,
Will sense of shame the truth recall?
If ever we would seek its track,
So many would the truth forestall.

Its only when our young rebel,
That truth will have an even chance;
They first must all the sham dispel,
Before pure truth can life enhance..
