EATING WHEN TRAVELLING

Controlling weight is such a bore,
For some it is a hopeless chore;
They eat so little, yet gain weight,
It seems to be their destined fate.

Yet others on a diet rich,
Find that they're in an envied niche;
Regardless of the food they eat,
Their bodies stay both trim and neat.

In travel mode, the weight will grow,
Desserts and snacking soon do show;
With friends we take that extra bite,
Such weakness none of us can fight.

Returning to a diet strict,
Harsh measures do we self inflict;
A pound or two we shed with glee,
Another trip we soon will see.
