INTERNATIONAL VALUES

Zaire has people die in droves,
The U.N. sits upon its hands;
In Bosnia the Muslims fell,
And no one stopped the killing bands.

So Faith and color do decide,
When human lives are worth a fight;
Our Heads of State do naught but talk,
While people sicken at the sight.

Belatedly they start to move,
Long after many thousands die;
There is no oil beneath their soil,
So sympathy we will deny.
