CROSSWORD FANATICS

Fanatics of the crossword puzzle
Will all their other senses muzzle;
Without the final word in place,
All other needs they will erase.

With furrowed brow they cogitate,
Frustration is a common state;
A triumph here, a triumph there
Will serve to lift their deep despair.

For this affliction without cure
That strikes the rich as well as poor,
Just let them suffer every day,
This madness will not go away.
