AGE AND EXPERIENCE

Maturity may come with age,
We also find senility;
Some older people are quite sage,
But some can't face reality.

Some narrow minds can not expand,
Constricting is their prejudice;
Ideas they will not understand
Oft lead them to a precipice.

Some twenty years experience
Will oft enhance an open mind;
Some have one years experience,
Full twenty times, and still are blind.

So age is no criterion,
It merely is a sum of years;
For some it's only duties done,
Albeit blood and sweat and tears.
