FOREVER SEARCHING
The future seems so far away,
And yet it gets here every day;
Preparing is a constant chore,
For every day we must know more.
Six billions of inhabitants,
Like colonies of hungry ants,
Enslaved by their necessities,
Still search for ways their lives to ease.
This restless, heaving human mass,
Keeps trying to move up in class;
By ups and downs we do advance,
Although at times it's just by chance.
