NEW SMOKERS
Too many youngsters smoke today,
Who will much later have to pay;
Though cancer many will not get,
It's emphysema they'll regret.
It is bravado at the start,
Addiction later won't depart;
On heart and lungs it takes its toll,
Its craving does consume the soul.
A social liability,
Pariahs they are sure to be;
Yet foolish youth won't warnings heed,
Succumbing to tobacco's greed.
Tobacco companies all lie,
When hooking youngsters they deny;
Statistics they do still refute,
As millions they send down the chute.
In foreign lands increase their loot,
All criticism they dilute;
May God have mercy on them all,
The day they face a Judgement Hall.
