CHARISMATIC LEADERS

No man alone interprets God,
Unless by God it is confirmed;
If not, the faker or the clod,
By all should be completely spurned.

All private dialogue suspect,
All such discourse produces doubt;
No way can any words be checked,
The will of God they well may flout.

Though charismatic may they be,
And confidence their mien brings,
Such frauds throughout all history,
Have briefly had their sacred flings.

With knowledge are we now endowed,
So many frauds have been disclosed;
We need by fakers not be cowed,
To all chicanery opposed.
