MAN'S QUEST

The Earth is such a tiny globe,
In such a vast array of space,
Yet puny man still tries to probe,
Its origin he would still trace.

All clues may be misunderstood,
On man made scales he must rely;
His misplaced pride yet thinks he could,
With telescopic aided eye.

I doubt if man will ever know
The truth about our origin;
We have a long, long way to go,
To find the source of so much sin.
