WHAT'S TO BECOME OF THEM
We watch our youngsters at their play,
As for their welfare we all pray;
We wonder what they soon may be,
For no one's future can we see.
So much temptation in their way,
And not all rules does youth obey;
But by example we may aid,
>From little acorns, oaks are made.
Just preaching makes our young rebel,
And even teaching they oft repel;
But if much patient love we show,
We'll influence the way they grow.
