REMINISCING
With friends we love to reminisce,
Old times are always seen as bliss;
All pain and anguish disappear,
And modern times are seen as drear.
Our memories are quite select,
With garlands ancient times bedecked;
All problems we did then resolve,
No turpitude did they involve.
Old times are always halcyon,
We all regret that they are gone;
But luckily we're past that stage,
We all forget, beset by age.
