ARABS AND ISRAELIS

Both captives to the militant,
Who sow dissention everywhere;
No peace will either ever grant,
Fanged teeth is all they ever bare.

The moderates on either side,
Reviled and shunned at home or shop;
>From all assassins must they hide,
Fanatic murders never stop.

Each side must first control its own,
So none will fear a dialogue;
All people must at first be shown,
Participants no one will flog.

It is a brutal fact of life,
That peace not all will well embrace;
For some prefer continued strife,
Since compromise they can not face.
