NATURE'S MEMORY

Familiar sites bring memories
Of ne'er forgotten happy days;
The winding roads with golden trees,
A well beloved merry phase.

We can not reconstruct the joy,
But still there is a warming glow;
The lovely valley does not cloy,
Its beauty will forever grow.

Our memories, a precious gift,
We can enjoy time and again;
Each viewing brings a special lift,
A blessing to the world of men.
