FAITH AND CHOICE
Religion is kept sacrosanct,
No questioning to be allowed;
The Lord above must be well thanked,
And to beliefs most men have bowed.
Now I love God with all my heart,
So grateful for His favors shown;
No disbelievers set apart,
All truth, I know, I do not own.
Each human has a Faith to choose,
At times they drift from one to one;
This freedom one should never lose,
For Faith by force we all should shun.
Millennia have seen much war,
Atrocities occurred galore;
Historians can tell us more,
The blame and shame we all deplore.
Religion should be gently urged,
Each soul must find eternal truth;
But non-believers never purged,
Faith not controlled by voting booth.
