GUN CONTROL

We humans need more time to grow,
There's too much braggadocio;
So stupid are at times our acts;
We simply will not face the facts.

On gun control we're all tied up,
The while their presence schools disrupt;
The only reason they exist,
The NRA controls resist.

These patriots would land defend,
>From all they don't consider friend;
These groups they choose with prejudice,
With arguments we should dismiss.

They bleat about their need to arm,
To keep this nation safe from harm;
But it's from them we have to fear,
They have the wish to domineer.

Our Army, Navy, and Marines,
'Twixt any danger intervenes;
But self styled heroes worship guns,
God save us from these simpletons.
