OLD HAPPINESS CAN'T BE REPLACED
There's so much grief for all to see,
Each person soon will have their turn;
A period of misery,
When grief and memories will churn.
The loneliness is worst of all,
Those numbing hours all alone;
Though happy moments we recall,
The pain thereof we would disown.
We're told we should be doing more,
Activity so time will pass;
But this won't happiness restore,
For that is lying under grass.
