BOASTING

Man's vanity still knows no bounds,
His boasting through the years resounds;
He prattles of heroic deeds,
>From which his audience recedes.

There is a need to self inflate,
His ego loves to celebrate;
He magnifies his every act,
But strays too often from true fact.

He'll listen to another brag,
That time won't seem too long to drag;
If only he will get his turn,
That no one will his stories spurn.
