A FRIENDLY VOICE

A FRIENDLY VOICE
Such pleasure in a friendly voice,
Just hearing it makes one rejoice;
Across the ocean far away,
It's like the sunshine's golden ray.
Both space and time it will erase,
Friends sound as if we're face to face;
Good news is always doubly blessed,
With waves of love within the breast.
Reluctantly we say goodbye,
But happiness we can't deny;
Across a sea our voices spanned,
What miracles we now command.
