TO WIDOWS

To all the widows of the world,
Whose grief and tears like winds have swirled;
Whose light of love has faded out,
Who face a future filled with doubt.

Though some seem inconsolable,
Of hope their lives should still be full;
For those who love can love again,
The world is full of lonely men.

Your grief is quite excusable,
You still won't find a miracle;
But slowly, slowly find yourself,
You need not stay on any shelf.

The living must go on and live,
There's still so much your life can give;
You need but change your point of view,
Go find someone in need of you.
