ARE WE BUTTERFLIES

AR5E WE BUTTERFLIES
We live and laugh, and dance and sing,
Not caring what the morrows bring;
We hide our heads in massive sand,
We scoff at fear of Devil's brand.
We burn the candles at each end,
We seek like minded as our friend;
We drink and love our days away,
No matter what our doctors say.
Yet who can swear this is so wrong,
That to conventions we belong?
If life leads but to empty trail,
Perhaps our pleasure should prevail.
