A SEIZURE EXPERIENCE
We never know when we're well off,
When all the world is in our hands;
At our mortality we scoff,
The trials of life nOne understands.
But then there comes a sudden shock,
A spell in which we lose control;
A lapse that does all senses block,
While threatening our very soul.
Chastised, to senses we return,
So humbled by experience;
A lessen we don't dare to spurn,
A lesson that our armor dents.
We're grateful for another chance,
In which we find a brand new choice;
For now we can our lives enhance,
And truly learn how to rejoice.

P.S. I'm fine now, but I did give my wife a scare.
