THE LAW OF LIFE

In time we all must pass away,
This law of life we all obey;
But while we're here we have the chance,
To many other lives enhance.

There's always more that we can do,
To greater charity pursue;
But still a balance should be found
To seek where joys of life abound.

For joy and duty can be mixed
Not only on good deeds transfixed;
For life itself is a reward, 
And all of it should be explored.
