THE FORTRESS OF HATE
Compassion do religions preach,
Emotions lie beyond their reach;
So prejudice and hatred form,
And bias is our human norm.
Man's hatred does himself destroy,
A poison that corrodes his joy;
It overcomes all values taught,
So powerful the passions wrought.
So difficult to find a cure,
For hatred formed when immature;
So man must live his Faith in fact,
Before this fortress can be cracked.
