FOREVER GRATEFUL
Forever grateful for my luck,
By golden moonbeams I'm awe struck;
My "friends upstairs" work overtime,
To keep my life in pleasant clime.
Through shadows do they safely lead,
They answer to my every need;
It seems they never fall asleep,
And every rendezvous they keep.
So worry is by me unknown,
This light of love forever shone;
Contentment floods my very soul,
While I pursue my human goal.
These "friends" I never ever see,
But "they" have been so good to me;
So life I gratefully accept,
It seems in Eden I've been kept.
