PRIVATE GRIEF

PRIVATE GRIEF

Some suffer privately their loss,
Their sorrow they will hide so well;
No sign of grief does come across,
Their tale of woe they will not tell.

At home alone their grief explodes,
As inconsolably they wail;
The depth of loneliness unloads,
It's been well hidden 'neath a veil.

Their grief too great for them to bear,
Their loss has been so grievous deep;
A loss this heavy they can't share,
Their sole relief is troubled sleep.
