FAITH AND HOPE
We live and die, the world goes on,
Though mourning clothes some people don;
For bread we struggle all through life,
And find our world is full of strife.
Humanity must strongly strive,
To merely cope and stay alive;
The road leads ever to our death,
We can't avoid that final breath.
Without a Faith it makes no sense,
What good a past or future tense?
If there is simply nothing more,
Then living is a useless chore.
Yet Faith and hope do ever rise,
Perhaps mirage before our eyes;
Thus mankind will go plodding on,
Until all Faith and hope are gone.
