SOME ABERRATIONS
There is no scale that humans use,
Which we have found infallible;
So vital info we may lose,
Of aberrations are we full.
We know so little of the truth,
For all we learn, we find suspect;
To ask more questions seems uncouth,
And early teachings views affect.
When science reexamines fact,
We often find to our surprise,
The prior measures inexact,
Misled so often by our eyes.
But mankind truly has no choice,
We can but do the best we can;
We dare not drown out any voice,
For we are often partisan.
