SUCH WILD IDEAS

SUCH WILD IDEAS
As I regard the world of men,
So much of it beyond my ken,
>From people I feel quite estranged,
In fact so many seem deranged.
Illusion seems to rule the earth,
These wild ideas should but bring mirth.
Some go so far as to deny
The sun keeps moving 'cross our sky;
A truth apparent to our eyes.
Why do these people tell such lies?
We all can see the world is flat.
We surely know our habitat.
I will not listen to such fools,
They obfuscate with stupid rules.
One does not have to go to school,
Such thoughts we all should ridicule.
Our scientists are just all wrong,
I simply will not go along.
