THE NEED FOR FRIENDS
Some friendships last for many years,
While others fade on sorry note;
Some think it's but a round of beers,
But others do their lives devote.
A friendship sometimes has a start,
In circumstances quite bizarre;
It's magic creeps into one's heart,
So later loss will leave a scar.
But friends are every human's need,
Without them life would be too bleak;
In friendship each forgets his greed,
Each friendship is itself unique.
