SHANGRI-LA
We all should have a Shangri-La,
A secret haven for a rest;
A refuge from all phobia,
A cozy nest that we love best.
We would recharge our batteries,
And meditate to heart's content;
Our minds would welcome fresh new breeze,
Ideas we'd find intelligent.
To contemplate we'd have much time,
Away from all the cares of Earth;
All worrying would be a crime,
Our laden souls would have rebirth.
We'd leave, but promise to return,
When once again we felt the need;
For calm and peace we always yearn,
And for a while from world secede.
